Case: Domestic Battery & Felony Witness Tampering

Aaron Delgado - State v. A.M.

Facts of the Case:

The State alleged that our client got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend, during which he struck her, shoved her into a glass table, and took her phone from her so she could not contact the police. Our attorneys got in contact with the State before charges were formally filed on the witness tampering charge, and convinced the State not to file the charge. We then negotiated a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) with the State that will lead to the remaining charge being dropped.

Case Result:

Charge never filed on Witness Tampering. Domestic Battery charge dismissed pending successful completion of DPA.
