Florida ice cream store owners accused of a crime

Few people like to go into serious situations without understanding what to expect or without having done some semblance of preparation. This same idea goes for individuals who may find themselves facing legal situations that need their attention. Being accused of a crime can result in parties needing to be able to make meaningful decisions that could have a significant impact on their futures.

The owners of an ice cream store in Florida may be hoping to prepare for their situation after they were recently taken into custody. The two married individuals were accused of being involved in a theft ring that allegedly focused on selling stolen health products. An investigation began after there were reports of such items being stolen from stores in the area.

An individual apparently informed authorities that he or she was stealing such items and taking them to the ice cream shop that the two accused individuals owned. Officials involved with the investigation reportedly believe that the purportedly stolen goods were being sold online. At this time, both husband and wife are being held on charges for dealing with stolen property, money laundering and others. Their bond was set at $65,000.

Being accused of a crime can be a difficult situation to handle if an individual does not know what choices they have. Therefore, it is important for parties to learn what they can about how their circumstances may be handled in the Florida criminal justice system. By having a better understanding of the situation, individuals may have a greater chance of making choices that they feel will benefit their case and/or potentially help them build a meaningful defense.
